Lil' Red Hood's Game Review : Molester Hunter

Today I want to present to you quite a unique Ren’Py game with a lot of potential:

Molester Hunter is an adult RPG adventure game where you play as a sexy girl you name yourself and do various kinds of quests.

The story is pretty simple? We play as a girl who enjoys masturbating in the forest (as one usually does). She is spooked by a huge cock (literally) and falls into the river. An old sensei saves her and the game starts. That’s pretty much it so far. After that we are free to do whatever we want. I am sure the story will be expended upon in later patches and I will fix my review if that is the case..

Gameplay is what I found interesting here. First it looks like a normal Ren’Py sex visual novel, but soon you realize there is more to it than that. There are attack cards, shops, sex cards, quests and so on. So you won’t just be clicking through text, I can promise you that. The main gameplay part takes place in the middle of the screen on the adventure window (see screenshots below) you move around completing your objective (usually gathering for now) and fight monsters if you have to. Once the objective is complete, you return the items, level up, buy better equipment and go on the next adventure.

Simple and elegant, I like it. I really hope the gameplay is improved with patches as I see some real potential here. I also like how sex is done. If you want to FUCK a monster there are two ways about it. Both require you to raise his LUST meter. So you have to do LUST attacks to seduce him. Touch your breasts, play with your pussy, tease his cock with your feet. Once his lust is full, you can either lose to him or win the fight with normal attacks and FUCK the monster (or get fucked). That is certainly very interesting and something I haven’t seen much of.

The art? Well, check it out.

It’s alright. It’s ok. It’s good art. It made me aroused. It may look a little generic, but it’s fine, it does the job well. The losing and winning screens are even animated, so the game gets bonus points for that.

The frequency of the sex scenes is not very good though. Of course you have your main heroine to look at, but for most sexy pictures you have to put in some work. Seducing monsters and all that.

All in all, I wish this game had more polish. All the information about gameplay is frontloaded in the tavern, without any attempt at the tutorial level. The game is also clearly unfinished, but there is some content here. Little to no sounds as well. I still think you should give this game a try though for the unique concept it shows us. I’ll give it 3.3/5 stars. I hope to improve in the future as more versions cum out.
