Lil' Red Hood's Game Review : Tentacles Thrive

Oh man, do we have a unique game for you today. Tentacles Thrive. Hope you enjoy tentacles as I do!

Unique will be the main word of this ‘thesis’ as it’s the glue that holds the whole game together. Unique story, unique gameplay, unique sex scenes etc. So let’ go over them one at a time.

The story introduces us our main heroine Lilith and gets into the action most right away. Lilith was exploring the forest for some interesting materials for her clothes. Tentacles fuck her royal pussy hard. Tentacles impregnated her. She comes back and everybody is like – what in god’s name are you doing woman, get the hell away from here. Lilith hides in the forest.

That’s pretty much the beginning few minutes summed up. From this point on you will be doing exactly what you think. Of course, that is not where the story ends, our at first is just to grow a small army and subjugate neighborhood territories, building it bigger and bigger with time. Of course, the way we grow the army is through your own breeding. I’ll tell you more in the gameplay section.

The story is fine, I felt a bit bad for Lilith at first, but it’s made VERY clear from the start, that she enjoys this. So breed away. In essence, this is a revenge story, which is quite rare in hentai sex games. Did I wonder what would happen next? Yes, I was curious what powers she will discover and where she takes her armies next, so the story will keep you occupied, if you are into that. If you are REALLY into that, you will discover some lore as well, so there is some meat to this world, if you will. Anyway, what will you be doing to achieve these different goals?

Gameplay is another thing that’s unique. I don’t think I will be able to describe all that you do in a sentence. But I’ll try anyway. Basically it is an SLG (simulation game) with a love sim elements and real-time battles. There are two parts to this cycle – preparation and battle. So you will be searching for new tentacles, creating new ones, letting them fuck your holes roughly, send them on the hunt for food etc. etc. There is a lot to do in preparation stage. Of course, to gather your army, as I mentioned before, you let different species of tentacles breed you, then you give birth, then you train it and bond with it (of course by having sex) and then you can add it your army.

With your army ready then it’s time to invade something. The battles here happen in real time, you choose with monsters to send first, which monsters to buff and basically will be trying to counter the opponents formation as different tentacles monsters are more (or less) effective against the enemy and vice-versa. If you are a fan of strategic game you will find this to be really fun, as positioning your tentacles perfectly and then watching the decimate an enemy is always a pleasure.

Add to all that skills that you can accumulate, tentacle book you have to fill out, more territories to discover and you have quite an ambitious game.

But let’s get on to another unique aspect – the art.

As I mentioned in my other reviews, I love when the art is instantly recognizable and this is the case here. One look at the heroine and you will be able to tell this game apart from others instantly. In addition to beautifully detailed pictures, you also have animations where tentacles writhe their way into Lilith’s holes and pound her hard. Each animation with each tentacle is unique and they are always fun to discover. Unfortunately whether you enjoy this art or not will be largely dependent on your enjoyment of tentacle hentai. If you like it, then without a doubt this will be an absolute joy to look at. But even if you don’t, I think the artstyle is still unique enough for you to have fun with.

The frequency of the sex scenes is okayish. The main problem for me, is that, well, there is only a main heroine to look at. She is VERY beautiful of course, but after a few hours of watching just her being assaulted by tentacles, you might lose your arousal over time. I would recommend maybe adding some random girls to the strategy part and if you defeat her, you will see an animation as well, but with her this time. I think this would add a much-needed variety.

Overall I will be giving this game 4.2/5 stars. This is an extremely unique game, but your enjoyment of it will be mostly dependent if you like tentacle porn. If you do, this is an easy 5/5. Some variety with girls would also be very appreciated. Check this game out though, you will be surprised as there is nothing like it.
